The Honeybees are Odette Michel, Amy Goddard and Zoë Wren.
Formed after an impromptu session backstage at the 2019 Cambridge Folk Festival, the band plays on the strengths of the three award-winning artists. After debuting at Cambridge Folk Festival, they’ve played up and down the country to rave reviews.

As a TwickFolk regular, you’ll already know Odette Michel, who launched her debut album with us a few years back. She’s a singer-songwriter, guitarist and bouzouki player with a stunning new take on the acoustic tradition and a voice capable of demonstrating the finer points of both folk and traditional song with genuine craftsmanship.

Amy Goddard is a folk artist with a flair for story songs. Her vocals have been likened to Sandy Denny and Joni Mitchell for their clear, pure and almost fragile sound. Amy stands out as an artist across disciplines, designing her own album covers and even performing on a hand-crafted guitar she built herself.

Since starting out as a London Underground busker, Zoë Wren has played shows from Towersey to Cambridge Folk Festival, to opening for Ralph McTell. Performing looped music with rhythmic fingerstyle guitar, Zoë puts a contemporary twist on her folk influences. She also performs regularly on Twitch.
