Bloodstock: Actually, that’s only very, very slightly folky – folk metal bands are known to turn up there with hurdy-gurdys (Isarnos – we’re looking at you). However, John-the-sound loved it in 2016 and recommends it.
Rebellion: This is barely folky at all, but was John-the-sound’s 2017 non-folk festival. Staying in a Blackpool B&B was very acceptable, and how can you go wrong with several days of punk – the folk music of the late-70’s?
