His music has been described as “the real thing, sensitive, moving, cathartic and healing.” He combines powerful, soulful vocals with compelling original songs, accompanying himself on acoustic guitar and harmonica. His masterful story telling, based on rich and challenging life experiences now form a significant catalogue of work. His songs elicit tears and laughter in equal measure, simultaneously instilling hope for all listening. In recent years Mills has relocated to London and is performing regularly in folk clubs throughout the UK.

Caroline Hetherton was raised in Oxford from Irish stock, and from an early age she played accordion in the family band. As a singer-songwriter she has regularly visited and recorded in Nashville where she first met Steve Dan Mills who produced her 2012 début ‘Superstition Highway’
