Acoustic Americana duo Kelley McRae are making a welcome return to TwickFolk following their visit last May. The duo have played shows coast to coast across the United States and are promoting their newalbum Easy on my Mind.
Singer/songwriter Kelley McRae, who performs as a duo with her husband Matt Casteilein, has an amazing voice. Their style of music is heartfelt Americana and their songs, inspired by the people and places they have encountered on their travels, have an honesty that touches the audience.
The BBC’s Bob Harris has called Kelley McRae “brilliant” and film director Wim Wenders, writing in the San Francisco Chronicle, described Kelley McRae’s music as “The last songs that made me cry”.
