Yorkshire folk singer Jack Rutter has established himself as one of the standout voices of the folk, roots and acoustic music scene in recent years. A hugely engaging stage presence, his soaring vocal, powerhouse guitar and bouzouki playing and masterful arrangements of traditional songs and contemporary covers have enthralled audiences from the largest festival main stages to the most intimate folk clubs.

His latest album, Wandered, released just this month, represents a new chapter for his music. Self-produced for the first time, this record explores new ground with the inclusion of layered field recordings, ambient textures, instrumental pieces and contemporary songs that sit beside the traditional, always retaining the essence of Jack’s traditional roots and signature guitar and vocals. Performances were captured in single takes live in the studio with multi-instrumentalist Jack also adding bouzouki, harmonica, concertina, harmonium and stomp to the album.

Jack made his first visit to TwickFolk in 2023 and we are delighted to welcome him back for what promises to be an exceptional evening.
