Alban Low is a Twickenham based artist associated with sketching live music and working with musicians. He cut his teeth in the jazz world, where he was Artist in Residence at legendary jazz venue The Bull’s Head in 2011/2012. His album artwork has been exhibited widely including at the Mall Galleries in London and his films with musicians can be seen on the international film festival circuit, most recently at The Hamburg Short Film Festival in 2012.

Alban is best known as a street artist. He specialises organising magnetic art exhibitions all over the England (Bath, Manchester, Brighton, Bristol, Hastings & St Leonards, London, Nottingham, Chorlton etc) and worldwide (New York, New Hampshire and Denmark etc).

This exhibition will be of 20+ artworks from 4 months of sketching at Twickfolk. The art residency has been a huge success and seeks to document a slice of life at this premier folk club.

We will open the exhibition on Sunday 27th January at 6pm with music at 7pm from Alan Franks.
