After winning the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Awards in 2010, James Findlay was signed by Fellside Rcords and his debut CD ‘Sport & Play’ was released. ‘English Dance & Song’ noted his ability to ‘handle a repertoire that would normally be associated with an experienced performer’ and R2 magazine commented that ‘Findlay is a singer of rare strength and conviction’.

Since the release of the album he has been consolidating his position on the Folk club and festival circuit. His new album ‘Another Day Another Story’ boasts an excellent choice of mostly traditional songs which strongly link to his West Country roots and will further enhance his growing reputation within the folk scene.

Jess Morgan is a singer-songwriter who is steadily building a name for herself in roots and folk music at home and away. Accompanied by acoustic guitar Jess’s style has been likened to that of the classic east then west coast song-crafters of the 1970s but with her own distinguishable voice – and often a distinctly British subject matter. Songs are peppered with influence from both Jess’s Welsh and English heritage; Jess supplies a fresh new twist on well worn fables; yet other story-songs spring from a keen and prolific imagination.
